Frank T. McCullough, Jr.

November 17, 1954 - June 8, 2017

Frank T. McCullough, Jr., 62, of China, died Thursday, June 8, 2017, at Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born on November 17, 1954, to Eva Lois Young and Frank McCullough, Sr., in DeRidder, Louisiana, and was a United States Navy veteran. Frank was an avid fisherman and hunter. He never met a stranger and always gave to others in need.

Survivors include his wife, Diana McCullough; sons, Truxton McCullough and his wife, Kim, of China; Josh McCullough and his wife, Emily-Beth and Joseph McCullough and his wife, Traci, all of Lumberton; and Dannis McCullough and his wife, Emily Joyce, of China; brothers, William McCullough and his wife, Nancy, of California; Bo Warren of Missouri; Peter McCullough of New Jersey; and Richard Ames and his wife, Jackie, of Georgia; sisters, Cynthia Freeman and Betty Ames, both of Beaumont and Darlene Rich and Diane Warren, both of Louisiana; grandchildren, Grace, Kolin, Hannah, Luke, Jenna, Abigail, William, Cadence, Carrigan, Landon, and Brant.

He is preceded in death by his father, Frank McCullough, Sr.; brother, David McCullough, and grandson, Alexander McCullough.

A gathering of Mr. McCullough’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Monday, June 12, 2017, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 245 West Highway 90, China. Interment will follow at China Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Outdoor Association for True Heroes (OATH Inc.), 27314 Piney Ranch Lane, Katy, Texas 77494.
