Freddie Lynn Gibson

Freddie Lynn Gibson, 72, of Port Neches, died Monday, July 5, 2021, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. She was born November 18, 1948, in Fort Worth to Margaret Inez Prater Shaw and Fred Shaw.

Freddie is survived by her son, Scott Edward Gibson, of Port Neches; daughter, Cathy Dianne Tompkins, of Port Arthur; grandchildren, Caitlyn and Clayton Tompkins; Olivia Flores; and Ryan and Cody Gibson; great-grandchild, Isabella Guerrero; sister, Linda Higginbotham and husband, Neil, of Silsbee; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Albert Preston Gibson.

Cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Fellowship Baptist Church, 1315 South 27th Street, Nederland.
