Gale Richardson

Gale Richardson, 68, of Kountze, died Sunday, April 22, 2018. He was born on July 15, 1949, in Beaumont, to Evelyn Goins and Abe Richardson, Jr. Gale served in the United States Army and later he retired as an engineer for Entergy.

Survivors include his son, Stuart Richardson; and brother, Ernest Richardson, both of Kountze; sister, Maxine McGinnis, of Crosby; nieces, Pricilla Carr and Melissa Bridges; nephew, Jerry Richardson; grandnieces, Tyler Carr, Reagan Carr, and Laykin Richardson; and grandnephews, Caleb Carr, Kale Carr, and Jace Richardson. Gale is preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering of Mr. Richardson’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m., until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. There will be an additional gathering from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., with his graveside service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Old Hardin Cemetery, Old Cemetery Road, Kountze.
