Gary C. Scott
Gary C. Scott, 79, of Bevil Oaks, died Wednesday, September 6, 2017. He was born on October 20, 1937, in Jasper, to Mozelle Watkins and Euel Cranston Scott, and had been a longtime resident of Beaumont. Gary retired as a Research and Development lab technician from Texaco-Port Arthur, after thirty years of employment.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Scott of Bevil Oaks; daughter, Cindy Scott of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; son, Gary Kevin Scott and his wife, Denise, of Beaumont; and grandchildren, Victoria Scott, Danielle Scott, Michael Scott, and Jayce Scott; and his buddy, Smokey.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Mozelle and Euel Scott; brother, Jack Scott; and sister, Carolyn Scott.
A gathering of Mr. Scott’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, September 10, 2017, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, September 11, 2017, at Broussard’s, with his interment Rosedale Cemetery, Sour Lake.

We wanted to share our condolences with Gary's family. It is never easy to have to say goodbye to a loved one. The pain of loss can be unbearable. Our Creator promises us that one day this pain will be just a memory. That beautiful promise can be found at Revelation 21:3,4. Our pain and suffering will be a thing of the past, and we can cry tears of joy as we welcome back the ones that we love so much. We hope you find comfort in those promises.
