Genaro Santana

Genaro Santana, 72, of Stowell, died Sunday, February 28, 2021. He was born on September 17, 1948, to Remedios Olalde and Francisco Santana, in Mexico.

Survivors include his wife, Maria Santana; children, Erika Santana and her husband, Eloy Lopez and Genaro Santana, Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth, all of Stowell; Leticia Santana and her husband, Benjamin Vargas of Winnie; Alejandro Santana and his wife, Martha, of Stowell; Ana Santana and her husband, Mauricio Hernandez of Winnie; and Eduardo Santana and his wife, Yarely, of Stowell; brothers, Antonio Santana of Winnie and Moises Santana of Mexico; sisters, Petra Santana of Winnie; and Acension Santana of Mexico; and seventeen grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Fortino Santana, Alfonso Santana, and Juan Santana.

A gathering of Mr. Santana’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 West Buccaneer, Winnie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 4, 2021, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Winnie. His interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
