Gerald Causey

Gerald Lynn Causey, 56, of Port Neches, died Monday, April 2, 2018. He was born on September 23, 1961, in Lecompte, Louisiana, to Geraldine Jones Causey and Barry Monroe Causey.

Survivors include his wife, Sherri Causey of Nederland; son, Charlie Landrum Causey of Lumberton; daughters, Jordan Paige Causey and Chelsey Lynn Pate both of Lumberton; grandchildren, Lincoln Gage Shelton and Cooper Allen Pate, both of Lumberton; step-children, Brian Anthony Papania and Tyler Lane Thibodeaux, both of Nederland and Maci Glen Broussard and her husband, Josh, of Brookland; step-grandchildren, Bryce Broussard and Brylie Ann Broussard, both of Brookland; and brothers, Derald Causey and his wife, Vicky, of Ville Platte, Louisiana and Greg Causey and his wife, Tonia, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Cindy Causey Bailey.

A memorial service for Mr. Causey will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Central Baptist Church, 903 Avenue B, Port Neches, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His cremation arrangements will be under the direction of Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
