Gerald W. Smith

Gerald W. Smith, 58, of Beaumont, died Sunday, December 1, 2019. He was born to Darlene Lyons and Gerald Milton Smith, on January 23, 1961, in Sulphur, Louisiana.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Smith, of Beaumont; son, Matt Suarez, of Pearland; daughter, Marla Snyder and her husband, John, of Humble; brother, Gary Smith and his wife, Pam, of Sulphur, Louisiana; sister, Susan Brotherton, of Kemah; daughter-in-law, Jessica LeBlanc, of Pearland; grandchildren, Morgan Snyder, Hayden Snyder, Noah Suarez, Nicholas Suarez; and his dog, Wyatt Hunter Smith.

A gathering of Mr. Smith’s family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., with his memorial service to follow at 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 6, 2019, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A private committal will be at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
