Geraldine Blackman

Geraldine Blackman, 99, of Village Mills, died Wednesday, March 6, 2019. She was born on August 15, 1919, in Joaquin, Texas, to Iva Davis Hanson and Preston Hanson.

Survivors include her nephew, Roy Glen Hancock and his wife, Carolyn, of Pineville, Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Delwin Mike Blackman.

A gathering of Mrs. Blackman’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 2019, at Wildwood Village Mills United Methodist Church, 5943 FM 3063, Village Mills, Texas, with her interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves, under the direction of Broussard’s, Silsbee.
