Gladys Shoupe

Gladys Marie Anding Shoupe, 91, of Silsbee, died Friday, March 17, 2017.  She was born on January 30, 1926, in Sugartown, Louisiana, Vernon Parish, to Elizabeth Welch Anding and Benjamin Franklin Anding.

Survivors include her granddaughter, Raynine White Bordelon and her husband, Randy, of Lumberton; grandson, Garvis S. White, Jr. and his wife, Marilyn, of Sour Lake; great-grandchildren, Brandi Campbell and her husband, Eddie, of Lumberton; Brittani Bordelon and her husband, Clint Mobley, of Jasper; Dean White of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and Christopher Bordelon of Lumberton; great-great-grandchildren, Mallorie Campbell, Aiden Campbell, Clint Micheal Bordelon, Ashlynn Mobley, and Hayleigh Mobley; and brother, Benny Anding of Orange.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer Dean Shoupe; and daughter, Carolyn Sue Ray White.

A gathering of Mrs. Shoupe’s family and friends will be 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, March 19, 2017, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 20, 2017, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.

The family would like to invite all family and friends to lunch at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 1360 Highway 327 East, in Silsbee (across from High School) at 11:30 a.m., Monday, March 20, 2017, before Mrs. Shoupe’s service at Broussard’s, Silsbee.
