Glenda Dyson

Glenda Nora Dyson, 79, of Buna, died Tuesday, December 12, 2017. She was born on November 28, 1938, in Buna, to Sadie Sheppard Stanley and Stanmore B. Stanley.

Survivors include her children, Steve Dyson and his wife, Nancy; Candice Stanley and her husband, Bubba; J’Juana Hester and her husband, Billy; and LaGena Stark and her husband, Edwin, all of Buna; and Matthew Shuman of Redding, California; sister, Bonnie Mansfield; Brother, Lewis Stanley; close family friend, Lilly Hutto and her husband, Paul, of Buna; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene Arthur Dyson; and sister, Alice Faye Smith.

A gathering of Mrs. Dyson’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 15, 2017, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Antioch Cemetery, Buna.
