Glenna Erwin

Glenna Ester Erwin, 87, of Spurger, died Tuesday, November 14, 2017. She was born on March 7, 1930, in Bee House, Texas, to Elsie Mae McDaniel Walker and Guy Monroe Walker.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Mayfield and her husband, David Roundtree, of Spurger; fourteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Irene Primeaux and her husband, John, of Lumberton; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her first husband and father of her daughter, Samuel Spurlock; second husband, Alfred Erwin; six stepchildren; and sister, Pauline Ratcliff.

A gathering of Mrs. Erwin’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 18, 2017, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her interment will follow at Turner Branch, Spurger.
