Glennie Lou friesz

Glennie Lou Friesz, 75, of Nederland, died Saturday, July 1, 2017. She was born on November 3, 1941, in Nederland, to Ella Poole and Archie Lewis Wallace.

Glennie loved her grandchildren, church, and playing piano and organ. She was very active at the Booty Ritter Senior Citizens Center.

Survivors include her son, Gregory Daniel Friesz and his wife, Shanna; daughter, Glenna Linn Friesz; son, Gordon Dennis Friesz and his wife, Shelley, all of Nederland; grandchildren, Corey, Ryan, Aidan, Taylor Ray, and Sydney Friesz, Maggie Miller, Mattie Romero, Zack and Reagan Friesz; and one great-grandchild on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald Daniel Friesz; brothers, Weldon, Lewis Everett; and sister, Velma Jean.

A gathering of Mrs. Friesz’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 3324 Park Drive, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at Hillcrest Baptist Church, with her interment to follow at 2:00 p.m., at Morse Cemetery, CR 784, Buna.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for Mrs. Friesz may be made to Booty Ritter Senior Citizens Center, 914 Boston Avenue, Nederland, Texas 77627.
