I was very saddened to hear of Gwen’s passing this morning. She was one of the sweetest, kindest people I have ever had the opportunity to get to know and she always brightened a room when she entered it. I know she will be missed by many but I am equally confident she is resting peacefully this day in the arms of Jesus.

Gwen was a long time friend. She was a devoted Christian, wife, mother and grandmother. She was loved and respected by all who knew her. Gwen was so dear to me because she captured my "Miracle of the Sun" in Medjugore by taking a picture at the time of my experience. I didn't know she took it until we returned home, and I will be forever grateful to her. Knowing Gwen she is in Heaven working on her wonderful artistic projects to share with everyone.

Sottry to hear about Gwen. We have known Gwen from 1979 first as a neighbor and then as a secretary at the American Heart Association followed by her work at the Bishops office. She was always so very pleasant and helpful. We had just talked to her at the international food festival at the St. Judes church. We will certainly miss her. Our prayers are with the family.
