Hazel Peavy

Hazel Peavy, 90, of Silsbee, died Friday, June 18, 2021.  She was born on January 5, 1931, in Noble, Louisiana, to Bessie Santos Paddie and Dave Paddie.  Mrs. Peavy was a member of the Choctaw Apache Tribe of Ebarb, Louisiana.

Survivors include her son, Billy Dan Peavy of Silsbee; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond Lee Paddie of Shreveport, Louisiana; and caregiver, Rodgel Daughtery of Silsbee.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Gerald Peavy; son, John David Peavy; six brothers; and a sister.

Mrs. Peavy’s graveside service will be 4:00 p.m., Monday, June 21, 2021, at R.S. Farmer Cemetery, Silsbee, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
