It was a honor to take care of Lelo, even though it was a short while.

Irene H. Chesnutt

Madame Stevens was a star in her chosen profession as a high school teacher. She was an inspiration to others because of her quiet moral fiber and devotion to friends and family. It meant a lot to me to know her and be her friend. Lelo will be missed by her family, friends and many students who received the best efforts on her part. I sympathize with her family and those who will feel the loss of her presence in their lives. Sincerely, Irene H. Chesnutt, former colleague and friend.

I had Madame Stevens for 3 years at Forest Park. She made the French language come to life! She was very passionate about teaching students not only the language; but everything French! To this day, France would be top of my list of places to go. She was extremely kind and a pleasure to have known. Condolences to you and your family, Suzanne. From Mary Anne Whitsitt (Novia)
