Herman Woodard

Herman Alan Woodard, 75, of Kountze, died Sunday, April 14, 2019. He was born on August 28, 1943, in Beaumont, to Esther Lack Woodard and Herman Woodard.

Survivors include his children, Alana Eakes and her husband, Billy, of Kountze, and Dee Chaney of Shepherd; grandchildren, Cody Hollaway, Honey Herrin, Billy Wayne Eakes, Bryan Chaney, Lavonn Chaney, and Johnathan Chaney; great-grandchildren, Brook Chaney, Johnathan Chaney, Jr., Lacey Chaney, Kindall Herrin, and Trystlyn Herrin. He is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Iris Woodard.

Mr. Woodard’s committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
