Homer B. White

March 15, 1942 - January 1, 2021

Homer B. White, 78, of Lumberton, died Friday, January 1, 2021.  He was born on March 15, 1942, in Lebanon, Tennessee, to Annie Craig White and Charlie B. White.  Mr. White proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon White; children, Deborah “Debbie” Slayter and Jerry White and his wife, Glenda Chandler, all of Lumberton; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and siblings, Carlene Martin of Tennessee, Pauline Myers of Arizona, Ruth White, Paul White and Leon White, both of Tennessee.  He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Joy, Carolyn, Frances, Charlene, Linda, Beulah, Harry, and Dewey White.

A gathering of Mr. White’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  His funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Kountze.
