Jack Salter
Jack Leon Salter, 72, of Lumberton, died Thursday, May 23, 2019, at Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born on August 30, 1946, to Margaret Richardson Salter and Hoyt Salter, in Beaumont.
Survivors include his son, Eric Salter and his wife, Kassia, of Troy, Ohio; and sister, Judy Baber, of Mauriceville.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Getschel.
A gathering of Mr. Salter’s family and friends will begin at 10:30 a.m., with his memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s.

I went to school with Jack at Edwards Elementary, Bowie Jr High, and French High....He was always joking and smiling....I'm glad to have known him...So sorry for your loss.. R.I.P. JACK!!

Eric and Judy I am so sad to hear about Jack. I went to French High with him and we served on many functions with the YMBL. He always had a story to tell and we shared many stories of high school. He was a good friend and will be missed. I pray for comfort and peace for you
