    To the family:
Very sorry for your loss. It is at a time like this that we can turn to the promises found at Isaiah 33:24 and John 5:25 to find comfort, strength and hope. We long to see their fulfillment soon. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a staple of the neighborhood on HIckory and I know y'all are feeling so much sadness, even knowing he is in the best place he can be. My heart and prayers go out to y'all.

I was saddened to hear of Jimmy's passing. His sister, Linda Cheshire Lyles (not Hughes) was my Mom. Although I haven't seen him in years, I can remember spending time with Jimmy and the rest of the Cheshire Family growing up. He was the first of Mom's brothers that I met. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I haven't seen Uncle Jimmy in a really long time and for that I'm deeply sorry. Growing up he was a fixture in my life. Whether hanging out at our house, swimming (him throwing me in) in the bay or working with Daddy. Great memories of him being a loving Uncle. You're all in my thoughts and prayers. The Padna's (Partners in oil field slang) are together again, drinking Schlitz and getting loud. Have fun Daddy and Uncle Jimmy. I love you both.

Thoughts and prayers with Jimmy’s family. His sister, Linda Cheshire Lyles, was my long-time friend since high school, when we were best friends. I remember Jimmy from those days.

He was absolutely the sweetest man I have ever met. It was a joy to see him on workout days at the gym. He never without a funny story or good advice for my puppy. He will be sorely missed. I pray for all his family and loved ones.
