James Fregia
James Wesley Fregia, 91, of Winnie, died Monday, February 25, 2019, at Riceland Medical Center, Winnie. He was born on January 7, 1928, in Liberty, to Zellia Padon and James Madison Fregia. He was a United States Army and Air Force veteran and was retired oil drilling consultant.
James is survived by his by his daughters, Linda Marie Dixon and her husband Pete, of Manville, Texas; Sandra Hendrix and her husband, Tom, of Liberty; and Susan Lynn Hutchison and her husband, Joey, of Dayton; son, Duane “Butch” Fregia, of Kountze; half-brothers, Tommy Fregia and his wife, Roberta and C.D. Fregia and his wife, Ann, all of Hull; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lynette Fregia.
A gathering of Mr. Fregia’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with his funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery, Daisetta.
