Jane L. Carroll

Jane L. Carroll, 94, of Beaumont, died Monday, October 2, 2017, at Summer Place Nursing and Rehabilitation, Beaumont. She was born on September 22, 1923, in Fannett, to Sadie Haddad and Sam Lewis Haddad, and had been a longtime resident of the area.

Jane is survived by her sisters, Betty Hebert, of Beaumont and Joyce Rasmussen, of Hartsdale, New York; nephews, Larry Lewis and his wife, Sharon and Sammy Lewis, all of Beaumont; John Head and his wife, Tammy, of Houston; and Booker Miller, of Canyon Lake; nieces, Duane McClanahan, of Beaumont; Raina Spangler and her husband, Steve, of Hartsdale, New York; and Linda Johnson and her husband, Anthony, of Warwick, New York; numerous grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Carroll; brothers, Sam Lewis and Abe Lewis; sisters, Nell Debes, Rose Peloyan, Jay Miller, and Margaret Head.

A gathering of Mrs. Carroll’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with her funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
