Janet was a lifelong friend. I will miss running into her at the grocery store and Walgreens and our lunch dates that lasted hours. She was beautiful inside and out. May God’ comfort her family with His grace and peace.

I always admired Janet for her natural beauty and easy going attitude. We became fast friends when I stood beside her in the Indianette line. She had great patience with me — because I always was a far better writer than a dancer.. I am so happy to have reconnected with her years later after our lives and families were established and we were once again Indianettes together at a reunion . We laughed and talked often on FB and even last week, after I knew she was sick, I heard from her in a comment on a pic of the two of us. I couldn’t have been happier or cried harder to know we would lose her soon. What a tough loss at a tough time. I pray for her family and us all.
