Janet Roberts

Janet Roberts, 82, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, January 3, 2018. She was born on May 20, 1935, to Helen Crawford Burrell and William Burrell, in Fannett. Janet loved her dogs, T.J. and Bear, shopping for Avon, and the beach.

Survivors include her sons, Robert Carpenter and his wife, Cynthia, of Beaumont and Thomas Carpenter and his wife, Karolyn, of Buna; sister, Linda Wheeler of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Lindsey Powell and her husband, Chad; Lacey Hantrakul and her husband, Paul; Clint Davis; and Klay Carpenter; great-grandchildren, Hudson and Avery Powell and Cameron Hantrakul; special family friend, Frank Ferguson; and special confidant, Dariel West.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband and love of her life, Vernon Roberts; and daughter, Denise Carpenter.

A gathering of Mrs. Roberts’ family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m. with her funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, January 7, 2018, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Harbor Hospice and the nurse, Janet Guzman and security guard at night, Dee. They would also like to thank her three special angels, Cassandra, Angie, and Margie for their care and compassion.
