Jean Bicknell

February 3, 1950 - August 11, 2018

Jean L. Bicknell, 68, of Beaumont, died August 11, 2018, at Hospice of East Texas, Tyler.

Jean was an avid bowler for many years. She loved going fishing and to the beach. Jean worked side by side with her husband, Gary, of thirty-eight years until he passed. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Jean was a very strong willed lady full of determination.

Survivors include her three daughters and their husbands, Letitia and Charles Doiron, of Tyler; Yvonne and Frank McBroom, of Silsbee; Cindy and Robert Bright, Jr., of Beaumont; eight grandchildren, Brandie, Erica, Kayla, Meagan, Kelly, Crystal, Alicia, and Cameron; step-grandchildren, Phillip and Joshua; eleven great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Trinity, Brayden, Jace, Andrew, Jr., Molly, Benton, Dexter, Dawson, Preston, and Elijah; step-great-grandchildren, Triston, Bryin, and Baron; three sisters. Patricia Delong, Joanne Pollack, and Dorris Hodges; two brothers, Christopher and Michael Nutt; stepsister, Krystal Wisnoki. She is going to be greatly missed by all.

Jean is preceded in death by her husband, Gary E. Bicknell; mother, Florence Elliott; father, Dwight Nutt; stepfather, Lester Elliott; and sister, Sylvia Garcia.

A gathering of Mrs. Bicknell’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at Broussard’s, Beaumont. A private committal will be at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
