Jean Louise Appleby

Jean Louise Appleby, 98, of China, died Saturday, December 29, 2018. She was born on October 19, 1920, in San Antonio to Josephine Brown Treuter and Charles B. Treuter. 

Survivors include her daughter, Sharra Weaver and her husband, Ken, of China; son, Charles Appleby and his wife, Cindy, of Marble Falls; grandchildren, Scott Weaver, Lindsey Weaver, Matt Appleby, Brandon Appleby, and Chad Appleby; great-grandchildren, Noel Weaver, Camdon Weaver; Sterling Appleby; Christian Appleby; and Dominic Appleby.

Memorial contributions for Mrs. Appleby may be made to China United Methodist Church, 205 W Washington Ave, China, Texas, 77613.

A gathering of Mrs. Appleby’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
