Jeff Wilson

September 26, 1978 - July 18, 2018

Jeff Summers Wilson, 39, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, July 18, 2018. He was born on September 26, 1978, to Sandra Sue Summers Wilson and Joseph Jefferson Wilson, Jr., in Beaumont, and was a United States Air Force veteran. 

Survivors include his daughter, Alix Wilson of Beaumont; mother, Sandy Padgett and Stepfather Farrel Padgett of Georgetown, Texas; brother, Jason Wilson and his wife Shannon of Fannett, Texas; sister, Whitney Hughes and her husband, Kraig, of Austin; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Jeff grew up in Beaumont. After graduating from high school, he married and entered the Air Force. His daughter, Alix was born in Dover, Delaware while he was on active duty. After his military service, he returned to Beaumont and became an Operator for Valero Refinery. 

Jeff loved riding motorcycles and ATV’s. He loved deer hunting and fishing and spending time with his daughter. He also loved a good joke and making people laugh ~ especially his family. Affectionately known by his family as “Feffy” ~ you are so loved and you will be so missed. 

A gathering of Mr. Wilson’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 23, 2018, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont. 

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, 3810 North Major Drive, Beaumont, Texas 77713 or to a charity of one’s choice.
