Jeffrey “Jeff” Holcomb
Jeffrey “Jeff” Holcomb, 67, of Port Arthur, died Monday, October 2, 2017. He was born on July 5, 1950, in Port Arthur, to Bootsie Rhoads Holcomb and James Marion Holcomb.
Jeff retired from Walgreens as a Pharmacist after thirty years of service. He enjoyed golf and shooting sports. Jeff will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and PawPaw.
Survivors include his wife of eight years, Rhonda Holcomb of Port Arthur; son, Daxton Holcomb and his wife, Rachel, of Neosho, Missouri; daughter, Hannah Lee Gigliotta and her husband, Danny, of Beaumont; step-son, Corey Craft and his wife, Ashley, of Beaumont; step-daughter, Danielle Harris and her husband, Jake, of Beaumont; six grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Holcomb and his wife, Gail, of Bridge City; sister, Julia Ann Gribnau and her husband, Donald of Port Neches; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bootsie and James Holcomb; and nephew, Trace Holcomb.
A gathering of Mr. Holcomb’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by his funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Holcomb’s memory to Alzheimer’s Association, 700 North Street Suite M, Beaumont, Texas 77701.
