Jennie Hendrix

Jennie Lee Hendrix, 91, of Livingston, died Saturday, October 3, 2020. She was born on September 28, 1929, in Livingston, to Emma Barnes Tipton and Robert Tipton.

Survivors include her son, Bradley E. Hendrix and his wife, Nancy, of Silsbee; son-in-law, Thomas McKee of Warren; grandchildren, Randall McKee and his wife, Lacy, of Lufkin; Larry Hendrix and his wife, Kristi, of Warren; Brandie Mitchell and her husband, Bill, of Sour Lake; Stephen McKee and his wife, Carol, of Silsbee; and Trena Hendrix and her husband, Jeffery, of Lumberton; thirteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Jennie is preceded in death by her husband, Bradley Hendrix; parents; and daughter, Elizabeth Hendrix McKee.

Special thanks to Ann Tanton and her staff at Silsbee Oaks, for all the love and kindness.

A gathering of Mrs. Hendrix’s family and friends will begin 10:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her interment will follow at Big Sandy Cemetery, Big Sandy.

Our sympathies for all of Ms. Jennie's family and friends. She and Mom shared a sweet friendship as residents in Silsbee Oaks. When visiting mother we always enjoyed visiting Ms. Jennie, too. She always had a sweet smile for us. ❤
