Those who knew Jeremy remember him by his great sense of humor and contagious laugh. He always had a great story to tell and the best advice. Jeremy spent his Sundays cheering on the Dallas Cowboys with his family and friends. Many people can attest to the tremendous amount of love that he had for all those that he crossed paths with. Though Jeremy loved many things and people, nothing compared to the immense amount of love that he held for his wife and three boys.

Alan Tinsley and wife, Diane Tinsley, of Nederland; mother, Kathy Gray, of Sour Lake; brother, Aaron Tinsley and wife, Brittany, of Atascocita; mother and father-in-law, Marshall and Junie Merren, of Nederland; brothers-in-law, Glen Merren and wife, Joy, of Cayman Islands; Marshall Merren, Jr.; and Dewey Merren and wife, Jessica, all of Nederland; nieces, Jaelyn Tinsley; Azlynn Tinsley; Kylie Merren; Willow Merren; Saige Merren; and Briar Merren; nephew, Kody Merren; and his loving extended family.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Janell and Gayle Reeves; and paternal grandparents, Jack and Joann Tinsley.

A gathering of Mr. Tinsley’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 18, 2021, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.

In lieu of flowers, the Tinsley family is asking that donations be made in memory of Jeremy Tinsley to support his sons, Julian and Jack, in their college fund.
