Jerry Glenn Swenson, Sr.

Jerry Glenn Swenson, Sr., 80, of Beaumont, died Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Pelican Bay Assisted Living, Beaumont. He was born on July 12, 1936, to Jessie and Arnold Swenson, Sr., in Port Arthur. Jerry co-owned Arnold’s Auto Supply in Port Arthur. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Swenson; son, Jerry Swenson, Jr., and his wife, Donna, of LaBelle; daughter, Debra Hubert and her husband, Steve, of Beaumont; brother, Louis Swenson and his wife, Marie, of Alabama; sister, Janis Latimer of Spring; grandchildren, Stacey Romero and her husband, David; Beau Piazza and his wife, Jodi; Jerry Swenson III and his wife, Sue; Steven Hubert II; and Sarah Hubert; and six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his son, Terry Swenson and brother, Arnold Swenson, Jr.

A gathering of Mr. Swenson’s family and friends will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, April 8, 2017, at their home in LaBelle. His cremation arrangements are being held through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
