Jerry Stockholm, 89, of Beaumont, died Monday, October 28, 2019, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on July 18, 1930, to Virgie Jalle Stockholm and Elmer Stockholm, in Beaumont. Jerry was a proud graduate of Lamar University and Texas A&M. He retired from Mobil Oil in 1989 and was a loyal member of Woodland Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Arlene Stockholm; daughters, Gwen Stockholm of Beaumont; Jerlyn E. Krismer and her husband, Mike, of Corpus Christi; and Lisa Johnson of Beaumont; sons, Gary Zimmerman and his wife, Sarah and Jerry Zimmerman and his wife, Ellen, all of Beaumont; and Mark Zimmerman and his wife, Angie, of Knoxville, Tennessee; sisters, JoAnne Perkins and her husband, Clyde, of Beaumont and Jalle Porter and her husband, Larry, of Lumberton; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Norma Stockholm.

A gathering of Mr. Stockholm’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. with his funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 1, 2019, at Woodland Baptist Church, 1860 West Lucas, Beaumont. His entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

I’m so sorry to here about the passing of Jerry. Jerry was my Sunday School Director at Calvary where I met him and Arlene.. Jerry and Arlene hosted a many of functions for our class and was a highly respectable and faithful servant of the Lord and fellowman. I know longer live in Beaumont but will always remember his kindness to me. RIP Jerry My friend.
