Jessie Stark

Jessie Victoria Stark, 87, of Evadale and formerly of Philadelphia, Mississippi, died Thursday, May 10, 2018. She was born on March 28, 1931, in Seymour, to Victoria McDonald Dillon and Green Dillon.

Survivors include her children, Wayne Stark and his wife, Eva, of Evadale; Charlene King and her husband, Reverend Larry, of Boerne; Darlene Lassiter and her husband, Neil, of Twin Falls, Idaho; and Linda Holley of Jamestown, North Carolina; thirteen grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Reverend Charles Stark; sister, Ruby Arnson; and brother, Roy Dillon.

A gathering of Jessie’s family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 4:00 p.m., Monday, May 14, 2018, at Buna United Pentecostal Church, 116 CR 833, Buna, under the direction of Broussard’s, Silsbee. Her interment will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Eastlawn Cemetery, Philadelphia, Mississippi.
