Jimmy Messer

Jimmy Ray Messer, 64, of China, died Friday, August 9, 2019, at Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born on August 31, 1954, in Silsbee, to Rita A. Dobbs and Jesse James Messer. Jimmy was a self-employed carpenter.

He is survived by his stepdaughter, Dawn Bennett and her husband, Charles; and soul mate, Fredrica Messer, both of China; brother, Donald Lee Messer and his wife, Icee, of Hull; grandchildren, Jayna Bryce, of Fannett, Justin McMillen, of China, Timothy Maness II, of Daisetta, and Breanna Mosley, of Ames; stepson, Tim Maness, of Hull; great-grandchildren, Jarrett, Lanee, Khloe, Kinzlee, and Carter; and numerous friends and family members.

A family committal will be at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
