JImmy ray brown

Jimmy Ray Brown, 75, of Ivanhoe, formerly of Winnie, died Saturday, July 29, 2017. He was born May 28, 1942, in Nederland, to Edith Coker Brown and Earl Lee Brown. He was a retired instrument technician from Texaco, Port Arthur.

Survivors include wife, Beverly Jean Brown, of Ivanhoe; daughters, Kimberly Gilpin, Paula Brown Giroir, Kayla Brown, Julie Brown and Brooklynn Brown; sons, Brodie Brown and Kodie Brown; sixteen grandchildren; many other family members and friends.

A gathering of Mr. Brown’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 31, 2017, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Fairview Cemetery, 223 Cemetery Road, Winnie.
