Jimmy Wayne Baker, Sr. 74, of Beaumont, died Thursday, January 2, 2020. He was born on January 16, 1945, to Mamie Naomi Shaver Baker and Ross Delton Baker, Sr. in Beaumont.

Survivors include his sons, Stacy Baker and his wife, Claire and Jimmy Wayne Baker, Jr., all of Beaumont; and Chad Dillon Mills of Lumberton; daughter, Honey Naomi Baker and her husband, Keith Vidalier of Mauriceville, grandchildren, Justin Barlock, Johnny Osenbaugh III, Owen Baker, Becky Baker, Leah Luker, Morgan Guidry, Kenzie Vidalier, and Keierah Vidalier; three great-grandchildren, Stella Rico, Jagger Guidry, and Journey Guidry; and numerous extended family who he loved dearly.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Baker; parents; and siblings, Lillian Spence, Hubert Weldon Baker, Ross Delton Baker, Jr., Bessie Mae Staha, Donald Ray Baker.

A gathering of Mr. Baker’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with his memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 12, 2020, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
