JoAnn Albery
JoAnn “Jo” Albery, 80, of Nederland, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at Bonne Vie, Port Arthur. She was born on March 22, 1938, in Gallipolis, Ohio, to Helen Myers Murphy and William Murphy.
Jo enjoyed spending her time traveling and completing crossword puzzles. She also liked to sew and was an exceptional knitter.
Survivors include her son, Mike Albery, of Nederland; daughters, Ruth Salzar, of Port Arthur and Pam Saleme, of Beaumont; grandson, Gregory Saleme II, of Austin; cousin, Janice Bowersox, of Dayton, Ohio; and numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
A gathering of Mrs. Albery’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
