John and his brother Melvin use to come to stay a few weeks with us in the summer. Oh my what fun we had & the pranks we pulled. I still think of those times. John was one of the best hearted person I know. Always doing for others. Last time I saw him he brought his Mother my sister Doris to see me in the hospital a few mo. ago. He looked at her & said you want yo & she yes that is all it took. He just sd. lets go. You will be greatly missed my sweet nephew. Aunt Judy

John and his brother Melvin and their friend Billy Sutton and his younger brother John were all friends at Dick Dowling Junior High and later at Beaumont High School. It was a great time and we used to be allowed to leave the campus for lunch. We will walk downtown and do all kinds of fun things and then rush back to class. Also, Summer of 1963 John and I were boy scout campers at Camp Urland and it was a turbulent summer for the kitchen staff. We were both hired to work in the kitchen and we slept in the old bunkhouse next to the mess hall. It was a great summer. We met up in recent years and John was always busy and always on a project. He was a very industrious and friendly guy.

I been deer hunting with John for about 18 years, loved hunting with Paige, his grand-daughter, and loved letting kids shoot deer. My condolences to the Bohler family.
