Jonell James

May 25, 1953 - August 21, 2020

Jonell James, 67, of Nederland, died Friday, August 21, 2020. She was born May 25, 1953, in Port Arthur, to Gloria Macomber Crochet and John Crochet.

Jonell enjoyed baking and going to concerts with her best friend. She was a supporter of the American Legion where in her younger years she called Bingo. She and her husband had a passion for classic cars and enjoyed strolling car shows together. Jonell loved to have family around and most of all, she enjoyed being a mom and a grandmother.

Survivors include her daughter, Krissy Blair and husband, Daniel, of Nederland; son, Clint James and wife, Felicity, of Arkansas; grandchildren, Jessica and Lillian James; and Hailey Blair; brother, John Crochet, Jr. and wife, Carol, of Nederland; and sisters-in-law, Karen Zalar and Kathy Landry.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gloria and John Crochet; and husband, K.C. James II.

A private family committal will be held at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
