Josephine Wilkins

Josephine Wilkins, 86, of Sour Lake, died Monday, June 12, 2017.  She was born on December 29, 1930, in Carthage. 

Survivors include her children, Jim Wilkins and his wife, Donna Kay; and Harry Lee Wilkins and his wife, Jennifer, all of Sour Lake; Mary Jo Lands of Missouri; and William Monroe Wilkins and his, wife, Diana; and James Elmer Wilkins and his wife, Maxine, all of Sour Lake; eighteen grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis Elmer Wilkins; sons, David Wilkins and Barry Wilkins; and siblings.

A gathering of Mrs. Wilkins’ family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  Her interment will follow at Grayburg Cemetery, Sour Lake.
