Sorry to be so late in sending condolences. Knew Mr & Mrs O'Brien through my folks (John & Mary Burke) since 70s. Mrs O'Brien was a lovely lady. Enjoyed seeing her at St Jude.

God called his Angel home. I loved Joyce so much and she was a "Beautiful Lady" . Joyce was a very active member of the community of St. Jude Church as well as a charter member. I met Joyce at a meeting of the "Ladies of St. Jude and worked on many reception with her. I will never forget the time I asked her to address all the special invitation for Msgr. Richard DeSteffano reception. Joyce asked that I get the envelopes to her as early as possible as she could only due just so many a day. I brought her the envelopes to her and she said it was an honor to do them but, the real honor was Joyce addressing them. Joyce had a beautiful handwriting.
May the family of Joyce kind peace and comfort with the help of Our Heavenly Father. Joyce you will truly be missed by all. Joyce, you touched so many people and Joyce you touched my heart in a very special way. I thank God for you being in my life Love you, my dear sweet lady and always will be in my heart. I grew up experiencing Aunt Joyce as elegant, gracious, thoughtful, and enormously kind during her visits to Michigan. She was such a special presence to me--from a different place; a different time--where qualities of character and spirit endure, forever.
I wish comfort and peace for my cousin, Denny, and his family.

So very sorry to hear this news! I have fond memories of my visits (from Michigan to Texas). My 93 year old mom is also very saddened - a lot of history with their long lives! Sending a big hug to Dennis and family from your Michigan cousin.
