Joyce Irene Viator
Joyce Irene Viator, 90, of Port Arthur, died Saturday, January 2, 2021. She was born on October 4, 1930, in Lansing, Michigan, to Lucille Wade Buckles and William Buckles.
Survivors include her children, Anthony Nomura II; Craig Comisky; Patricia Short; Ruthie Lee; Toni Nomura; and Dennise Shaffer Walker; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilmer “Zu” Viator; and son, Richard Comisky.
A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Elizabeth Bridges for her faithful and loving care.

Joyce was more than my neighbor she was like a mother and my best friend. I miss her so much already but have peace knowing she's with the Lord and many love one's in heaven. I pray the family finds peace..
