Juanita Bridwell

September 9, 1927 - September 6, 2018

Juanita D Bridwell, 90, of Wildwood, died Thursday, September 6, 2018, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. She was born on September 9, 1927, in Seminole, Oklahoma, to Ertis Poe and Clarence Horace Case.

Survivors include her children, Ertis Charmaine Garner, of Beaumont and Leslie Ann Carpenter and her husband, Bill, of Wildwood; grandchildren, James David Garner, of La Marque; Jessica Hamilton, of San Antonio; Megan Elaine Gay and her husband, Phillip, of, New York; Shane Austin Cox, of Rowlett; Matthew Clayton Cox and his wife, Jayme, of Rowlett; and Julie Annell Garner, of San Antonio; and great-grandchildren, River Ann Gay and Soren Jack Gay, of New York.

Juanita is preceded in death by her parents; son, Stephen “Buster” Cox; and her daughter, Joy Deen Hamilton.

A gathering of Mrs. Bridwell’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., Sunday, September 9, 2018, with her funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m., Wildwood-Village Mills United Methodist Church, 5943 FM 3063, Village Mills. Her interment will follow at Old Union Cemetery, Nacogdoches, under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.
