June Marie Wilson

June Marie Wilson, 84, of Beaumont, died quietly at her home, Sunday, February 5, 2017. She was born on June 12, 1932, to Agnes Mary Williams Chandler and William Lomas Chandler, in Terry.

June was a 1953 Lamar graduate with a degree in physical education. She then started her family and was always so well manicured and beautiful. June attended business functions with her husband, Claude, and they would also travel abroad for conventions. They later began motor homing and loved to grow flowers.

Survivors include her son, Randy Wilson, of Beaumont; daughter, Karen Wilson of Celina; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Cherry Scales and her husband, Royce, of Oilla Community.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Kathleen “Kathy” Nuckles; sister, Marilyn Chandler Cotton; and brothers, James E. Chandler and Gerald “Pete” Chandler.

A family graveside service will be held at Mary Williams Cemetery, Orangefield, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
