Kathleen Ablitt

Kathleen Mary Ablitt, 98, of Beaumont, died Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. She was born on July 10, 1920, on the Isle of Wight, England.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Pauline Baumer and her husband, Ron, of Beaumont; son, Philip J. Simmonds, of Cambridge, England; grandchildren, Nicki Holtzman and her husband, Mickey, of Beaumont and Robin Simmonds and his wife, Claire, of the Isle of Wight, England; and the great-grandchildren, Hannah Holtzman and Elizabeth Holtzman, both of Beaumont, and Alfie Simmonds and Elsie Simmonds, both of the Isle of Wight, England.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her husband, George Ablitt; son, Roger George Simmonds; all of the Isle of Wight, England.

A funeral service for Mrs. Ablitt will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2019, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A private committal will be at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
