Kay Post, 84, of Vidor, died Sunday, June 14, 2020. She was born on September 30, 1935, in Prattville, Alabama, to Mable Bone and Lewis Coker. 

Survivors include her daughters, Lynn Valdez and her husband, Juan; Vickie Hernandez; Sabrina Newton and her husband, Ronny Brannon; Jackie Rodgers; and Sheila Byrd and her husband, Donald; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sheldon Post; sons, James Clifford Cordray and Charles Cordray; daughter, Penny Lassabe; and grandchildren, Kenneth Wayne Mosley; Richard Weston Jones, Jr.; and Kade Hester; and great-grandson, Brandon Cuevas.

Memorial contributions for Mrs. Post may be made to Sweet Pups Rescue and Sanctuary, P.O. Box 446, Vidor Texas 77670.

Cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. The family will gather at a late date to celebrate her life.
