Kenneth E. Beaver

March 17, 1935 - January 7, 2020

Kenneth E. Beaver, 84, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, January 7, 2020. He was born on March 17, 1935, to Marie Moore Beaver and G.A. Beaver, in Arcadia, and was a United States Marine Corps veteran.

Kenneth retired from Dupont after 40 years and was a devout Catholic who recited the Rosary every day. He loved listening to country and bluegrass music, running, hiking, and snow skiing. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family at the lake house at Sam Rayburn.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine Beaver; sons, Kenneth E. Beaver, Jr. and his wife, Dianne, of Spring and Jeffrey G. Beaver and his wife, D’awn, of Beaumont; sisters, Theresa Craig of Santa Fe, Wanda Franks of Georgetown, and Maedell Ercums and her husband, Karlis, of Alvin; grandchildren, Kenneth Beaver III; Katie Lopez and her husband, Michael; Bobby Beaver and his wife, Heather; Jeffrey Beaver, Jr. and his wife, Katie; Lauren Hawa and her husband, Wilson; John Beaver and his wife, Mattie; and Joseph Beaver; and great-grandchildren, Michael Lopez, Bryce Lopez, Chance Lopez, Ben Beaver, Caroline Beaver, Lily Kate Beaver, Margo Beaver, Gordon Beaver, Clyde Beaver, Helen Hawa, George Hawa, and Mary Hawa.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sons, Robert Beaver and Gregory Scott Beaver; and brothers, Cecil Beaver and Gerald Beaver.

A gathering of Mr. Beaver’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 9, 2020, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont. His interment will follow at China Cemetery, China.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont, Texas 77706.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Latonya Ware and Anitria Joseph for the loving care for the past two years.
