Kenneth Ray Gore, 59, of Silsbee, died Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Houston Methodist Hospital. He was born on March 24, 1958, in Kountze, to Mildred Crawford Gore and Elgie Gore.

Survivors include his wife of forty years, Cheryl Dickey Gore; daughter, Della Gore West and her husband, Thomas; grandchildren, Blayden, Deanna, and Gracie, all of Silsbee; Clayton and his wife, Breighann, of Mauriceville; and Natiliegh of Vidor; great-granddaughter, Sofia; sister, Sible and her husband, Norman, of Fred; brother, Truman and his wife, Penny, of Fred; sisters-in-law, Rhonda and her husband, Melvin, of Fred and Donna and her husband, Ben, of Vidor; and nieces and nephews, Richard, Beverly, Robby, Carl, Aaron, Amy, and Brandy. He is preceded in death by his parents; and son, Kenneth Lynn Gore.

Kenneth loved tending to his chicken and rabbits at home and if he wasn’t at home he hoped he was fishin’. But what he loved most was sitting in the middle of his grandchildren as they ripped and roared.

A gathering of Mr. Gore’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at Oak Grove Harvest Assembly of God, 18459 FM 92 Road South, Spurger. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Oak Grove Harvest Assembly of God, with his interment to follow at Beech Creek Cemetery, Spurger, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee
