Kristi Lynn Smith

Kristi Lynn Smith, 64, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont. She was born April 29, 1956, in Port Arthur, to Martha Nell Cummings Busby and Thomas Edward Busby.

Kristi was an adventurous person that enjoyed bowling, eating out, traveling, and shopping. She especially loved the Cirque du Soleil. Above all else, Kristi cherished the time she spent with her family and dogs.

Survivors include her parents, Martha and Thomas Busby, of Nederland; daughters, Angie Smith, of Humble and Paige Austin and husband, Mathew, of Orange; grandchildren, Anthony and Mia Austin; brother, Donald Busby and wife, Jane, of Nederland; and her fur babies, Harley and Bandit.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Laura Busby; and grandparents, Addie and Herman Cummings and Georgia and Jack Busby.

A gathering of Kristi’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 22, 2021, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, 618 Block, Port Neches, Texas.
