Kyle Devillier

February 15, 1960 - October 20, 2018

Kyle Hilton Devillier, 58, of Anderson, formerly of Winnie, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018, at Conroe Regional Medical Center. He was born on February 15, 1960, in Anahuac, to Beverly Sue Bice and Samuel Vallery Coulon Devillier. Kyle was a retired Texas Game Warden, husband, father, Grandad, and friend. He loved his family with all of his heart. Kyle was ecstatic to have found the love of his life and was proud of his 5 children. His greatest loves were his 3 grandkids that he loved to spoil rotten.

After retirement, Kyle spent his time actively hunting. He loved to hunt, but most of all he loved sharing his adventures with others. Kyle was full of stories that would either make you turn beat red or laugh out loud. He always knew how to light up a room. There was never a stranger that he did not meet or lend a hand to. Kyle made it a point to build positive, lasting relationships with all. He will be dearly missed, but always in our hearts.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Devillier, of Anderson; mother, Beverly Sue Devillier-Kiker and her husband, Charles, of Winnie; children, Samuel Kade Devillier and his wife, Mashell, of Montgomery; Kassie Lee Doherty, of Leander; and Cash Michael Devillier, Catherine Mary Devillier, and Colton Christopher Devillier, of Anderson; grandchildren, Colby Keith Martin, Cale Christian Doherty, both of Leander, and Kasha Marie Devillier, of Montgomery; brother, Yale Harlan Devillier and his wife, Ceila, of Winnie; sister, Jill Darlin White and her husband, Ronny, of Houston; sister-in-law, Laure Law and her husband, Gregg; brother-in-law, David Russell and his wife, Beth; father-in-law, Don Russell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kyle is preceded in death by his father, Samuel Vallery Coulon Devillier; and mother-in-law, Rodie Russell.

A gathering of Mr. Devillier’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at First Baptist Church, 120 West Pear Avenue, Winnie, with his interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.

May God look over Kyle and the family in a time of need. I am so hurt with the passing of a former teammate, but what i remember the most about Kyle, as well as the family, are people are of no color. That is the one thing that could make you like and enjoy being around such a great person. My prayers are with all of you. May God bless you.

Knowing there are few experiences more difficult than losing our loved ones in death, I extend my condolence to family & friends. It is obvious from the many kind expressions that Mr. Devillier will be sadly missed. As you cherish the many memories, reflect on the time when sickness..., death... & sorrow will be conditions of the past! (Revelation 21:3,4; 1Corinthians 15:26) This is what our loving God Jehovah has promised & Jesus Christ himself guaranteed the hope of seeing our loved ones again by means of the resurrection. (John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 26:19) May God’s word comfort you during this difficult time and in the days ahead, as we await the fulfillment of his promises.......

Damn Judge, seems like yesterday, we would run to Mr.Simpson and ask "can we go tackle Kyle ?" He would going from the cafeteria to the stadium with all his friends. And of course Mr.Simpson would let us. We would run to him, and usually take a beating, but hell, it was worth it. Every once in a while we would get him ..... . .all nine or ten of us. ... .....thoughts with you and all your family old friend . . .you and the kido's to Stephanie
