Lambert Myers, Sr.
Lambert Ray Myers, Sr., 60, of Winnie, died Saturday, December 21, 2019. He was born on December 11, 1959, to Luthy Lantz Myers and Lawrence Myers, in Roanoke, Louisiana.
Survivors include his children, Ashley Shelton and her husband, Shane; Lambert Ray Myers, Jr., and his wife, Deniece; son, Brandon Blake Myers; brothers, Lonnie Myers, Roy Myers, Bruce Myers, Eldon Myers, and Michael Myers; sisters, Stephanie Trahan and Ellen Fountain; ten grandchildren; and his mother, Luthy Myers.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Myers; brother, Danny Myers; daughter, Marilyn Myers; mother-in-law, Judy Bertrand; father-in-law, T-Joe Bertrand; brother-in-law, Eddie Fountain.
A gathering of Mr. Myers’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 27, 2019, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 28, 2019, at St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 Buccaneer Drive, Winnie, with his interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.

I didn't know Mr. Myers well, and only worked with him very briefly in Tennessee earlier this year. He was very kind, and very much a gentleman. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends as they grieve for his loss. He will not be easily forgotten.
